Up Foundation Stage Main School Ofsted

Potatoes

Every day starts with a traditional assembly with time for news and a quiet prayer

  • Great emphasis is placed on the basic subjects.

  • The National Curriculum is followed throughout the school.

  • French is taught throughout the school starting in the Foundation Stage by a specialist teacher.

  • There are also specialist music and PE teachers.

  • Parents are asked to advise the school well in advance if it is intended that a child sit a common entrance exam in order that the school can take steps to ensure suitable preparation.

  • The new ICT suite provides 25 computer stations.  Enough computers to allow for a computer for every child.  Even if a computer isn't working!

  •  The ICT suite has an interactive smart board with sound and a dedicated teacher station

  •  Each class receives a minimum of 2 hours each week in the computer suite.
