As part of PSHE Y6 have been learning about the world of finance and how a business makes money. Each pupil was given £5 (raised from cake sale) and asked to make a profit by creating a product to sell at the Easter Fayre. The Friends were kind enough to let them have stalls for their goods in return for a donation, and the children and adults had great fun at the sale. On sale were plants, flavoured popcorn, sweets, ice creams with toppings, hand made hair grips, decorated pencils and stationery bags. The money is still being counted but everyone made a profit which they are hoping to spend on a fun outing.
